1K0-071-609-AX is what I found. Possibly out of date, but the dealer should be able to get it from that anyway.

Thanks for your help, they are crazy money for a bit of plastic, does anywhere do an equivalent like the eBay e30 ones?

The gap look spretty poor, all over the place. Do you think this will change once it's fitted and te tabs pull it out?

I've yet to open mine yet. Will post photos when I do.

I agree, that fit looks pretty poor to be honest, the gap along the center and the way it curves around the edge of the bumper.. Hope it turns out better when painted!

Like the ED30 replicas.. Not sure how this would fit your Golf. The fact they've got a 3D model rather than a real car as the photo is probably an indicator to them not being able to install it on a real car. :signLOL:

Bearing in mind that would only fit onto the bottom of a Votex splitter and for pre-facelifts only.
In that image it's the tiny little black bit out the bottom, not the whole splitter!! Don't tell you that clearly haha  :fighting2:

That's ridiculous, but you're right, you can only really tell from that last photo. :stupid:

Found this one :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-Mk5-3-5-Doors-Front-Bumper-Spoiler-Edition-30-/360271790741?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AGolf%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+V&hash=item53e1df4295

It's similar or the votex ones but without the cut outs in the middle , genuine ones seem hard to come by in the uk

The number of peeps over the years who've nearly bought that splitter thinking its THE splitter!

As for the VOTEX looky likely splitter, I will be interested to see Si's when its on. Can't decide whether to buy this or spend the extra for a OEM VOTEX and swap out my Eddy one.

I bought a genuine Votex splitter rather than go down the route of a copy incase of fitting problems.

Fits like as dream!  :happy2:

Must say am very very pleased with it. Over the years I have always fitted OEM kits etc after a nasty experience with a replica spoiler on my old Mk4 RS Turbo.

But this fits, I dare to say, perfect. I was expecting a nightmare, but only took an hour. Longer to get old one off and take pics than fit this. I've only got a few mobile shots as I fitted it tonight in the garage. All clipped into place very well and nice and snug fit. Follows the line of the bumper, no gaps, and finishs perfect at each end.

All the holes for the screws line up. Just the arch bits left to fit, as they are still in my desk draw at work  :ashamed:

I know a different model but I had a genuine Vortex splitter fitted to my Mk4, and must say this fits aswell, helped buy fittings underneath.

Now I'm sure a genuine E30 or Vortex would fit even better but will give this full marks for effort. Better pics soon, promise.

Very pleased  :jumpmove:

Sorry for poor pics, been a long weekend with new wheels as well  :happy2:

It fits "OK"
I wouldn't call it good. You can see around the edge in the pictures it doesn't quite line up, and the plastic in the middle is all wonkey.

For £100 or whatever it's not bad but for me I wouldn't run one.  :ashamed:
If you're happy that's what matters.
