I'm pretty sure martziniuk had more mileage on his when he did the conversion.
Personally I'd just sell up and buy an edition 30. It's what I done & made more financial sense. Your choice tho
Well im in two minds, if i wanted a new car i'd want it to be something totally different possibly e46 m3.
im all for K04, but does anyone think its alot of money to spend on a 55 plate, nearly half the cost of the car with parts, labour and supporting mods

If it was me i would be buying better handling mods like roll bars and brakes. both of which you can easily remove and put on a new VAG or sell at a good price.

It's also priceless when you leave a 'superior' Edition 30 for dead on a dragstrip or on a track
Why would it leave it for dead, if both have map then they will be same ....
Quote from: GTI-Ross on October 25, 2013, 10:41:32 amWhy would it leave it for dead, if both have map then they will be same ....Because a K04 GTI generally means that it would have Revo / APR stage 3 or an R-Tech custom map with all the supporting mods (TBE, intake, HPFP etc). So an Edition 30 would have to be Stage 2+ to be similar
