bump, checked using vagcom with no codes found relating to aircon but using launch diagnostic i have a code for refrigerant pressure low but the system is full. so does anyone know if the fault lies with the compressor or the switch?

You can run the Aircon system with VCDS & log compressor current draw etc using measuring blocks or run an output test!

However, the pressure switch is a very common problem.

I had this and it was pressure switch. Just unscrew and fit new or. It screws onto a Shrader valve
