Just had mine carbon dipped (hydro wrapped - or whatever it's called) with a super high gloss resin finish.

I've had the top vents, stereo surround, ashtray surround (with ali astray cover), gear gaiter surround, and driver side arm rest coated and (imo) really freshens up the interior.

Alternatives include alcantara trimming (see the ongoing offer in the for sale section) which also looks great and can be in most colours to add a bit more individuality to your car  :happy2:

Just waiting on collecting the side vents (hopefully tomorrow) and i'll put pics and a review up for the company.

Cost about £120 for the whole lot and looks so much better (imo) than your standard 3m carbon wrapping

By a company call hydro graffix based in Maidstone.

You have to post your parts to them and you'll have them back within a week. They do a variety of different options with the coatings and cf variations.

I'd really recommend having a look at the website and calling Adrian (the main man - details on the website) to discuss your requirements. I'm sure if you mention Gareth from the mk5 golf gti forum he'll sort you a discount.

I have no affiliation with the company at all. I wanted a gloss carbon look coating to freshen up my interior, so went onto google and found a place within 10 mins of my house. Took a chance, and imo it's paid off big time.

The standard of work imo is awesome, each piece has a perfect finish and it actually looks so much better in the flesh  :happy2:

As above you can have them dipped or Jairm can wrap them or trim them in suedue/alcantara - Any colour you can think of he can probably get.

Just seen this thread while searching about.

The finish of their work looks immense Gareth. I've just been in contact with Adrian about sorting out my interior and also some exterior pieces. Thanks for helping me spend MORE money!

Does (can) anyone make a iPad 7 inch surround/dock for the Mk5?
