Is it as simple as plug and play...... Or will it need coded will it work with the high line and that's all you need. Where can I get one seems very limited on the internet.

they plug into your ccm which can be in a few places on mine its under the dash on the drivers side-a bit arkward to do as there is little room to move but not impossible..mine didn't need coding in it worked straight away..Mine was the first gen out showing just a few paramounts but the new ones do a lot more..Get them from polar them selves

Hello,

Well I'm thinking of getting the polar advanced fis+ but don't want to get it if it ant going to work with my car, problem is I'm basically changing the cars completely like the high line, mk6 steering, controller, so want to make sure it all works. I'll have a word with Ed next sat when he codes all the jobs I've asked for him to do. Think he is going to be a busy guy.

It plugs into the CAN gateway and will work with what you have.

Also a FISCON Basic will give you some highline readings if you were going down a bluetooth route one day
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Cheers for the reply's

I have a alpine head unit and im hoping that i'll work well with the Mk6 wheel, If it does and all goes well I think the Polar Fis+ is next on the cards.

I also want the Mk6 reversing camera but dont think it'll work with my head unit.

Cheers Dan

Looking forward into meeting Ed seems very highly regarded on here and full of knowledge with all things VAG.

Polar is a quality piece of kit and well worth it.

it plugs into your CANBUS and if you go through the cubby it will take about 10 mins all in to install yourself.
