Sorry about that mate, some postal van scratched all my eddy on Friday so it's not been a good week. I'm in the north east and the 24hr fuel service is called fuel doctor, 0845 45 90 000 let them know where your from ect

Cheers guys... She's now joined the AA and coughed up £200 in some garage in Gateshead to get it sorted

Sorry to hear that but I guess it's just one of them things, how much petrol was in the tank and how much did she put in do you know?

Also if your a mag just remember we will be smashing the mackems tomorrow that might cheer you up  :happy2:

Thanks, the light had just come on so probably about 5l of petrol and she filled up the tank with diesel

Petrol in a diesel car actually can give you more power (as long as you don't put too much in)

Our latest batch of cars at work have a recorded voice speak when you open the fuel flap.  Like the ones you hear on bin lorries etc. but instead of saying "Caution, this vehicle is reversing" it says "Caution, use diesel fuel only".  The first time I heard it I was looking round the forecourt wondering where it came from, then realised it was my car :grin:
