Uprated Helix clutch
« on: October 29, 2013, 05:49:55 pm »
Does any1 know the part number for the uprated helix clutch kit that's rated to 400 lbs or does any1 know the cheapest place to buy this kit. Would be also interested in the sach kit but I've been told they are both as good as each other but helix is slightly cheaper

Thanks

If u fit this kit with a oem DMF pedal should feel OEM, some1 may shed some light if they already have this fitted.

Bite is like stock, but the pedal is slightly heavier with more feel.

I have the helix out in my stage 2+ ed30. I've done over 30000 miles with it.
Only marginally stiffer than standard, a great upgrade.

Did you put a new DMF in with the new clutch? Do you have the part number by any chance :) I want to make sure I get the higher rated one. Think the higher one is rated to 400 ft lbs of torque.

Thanks

Mine was the 400 torque version. My dmf was perfect so not swapped.

Had mine bought/supplied by rtech power in Hinckley.

Yeah I can supply them.  The organic plate with cover is around £500 with a new slave cylinder.

Does the slave cylinder need to be replaced?
