Anyone tried this?
« on: October 27, 2013, 11:08:17 pm »
Can't stand the RCD310, it really is a heap of junk.

Looking for something OEM that, with a few more features than "6CD" or "gala"

Let me know your thoughts! Suggestions are welcome, but it's gotta be OEM looking.

:-)

Looks OEM but the GUI is far from OEM.
For £370 you can buy an RNS510. Why would you pay more than £200 for that?

This... I bet the touch screen is crap and the processor slow.

Saw an RCD510 go for £160 on ebay the other day... at that price, I don't know why I don't have one.

If the lack of DVD/Sat Nav isn't a problem for you, I say get an RCD510.
I got mine for £150 with a FAKRA adapter, and it's my favourite mod so far! :drinking:
It makes the sound quality much better, although I went from a RCD300, so can't say how it compares to your 310. :)

Don't waste your money mate. I bought something similar from ebay and it was a complete piece of junk. Had it two weeks and each day something new stopped working! Finally sent it back for a full refund and bought a Sony which I've been massively impressed by.

Review of my "bargain" here by the way...
