RS4 fuel pressure relief valve measured affect
« on: August 20, 2015, 08:58:03 am »
After reading advice on here, whilst fitting my new IC I fitted the RS4 valve. I was already running the LOBA pump so was interested to see the difference.

I took logs before and after the valve.

I read that whilst the standard valve is rated at 130bar they often bleed at below this number. And as advised I can confirm this is the case. With the standard valve I was seeing a peak of 127, with the new valve 130. Same software etc.

The car def feels stronger in he midrange, so for anyone who has updated their pump def do the valve too. I can't claim to have done any groundwork on this, just followed the advise on here and the numbers don't lie. I am quite surprised they are not sold as a kit, pump and return valve.
