Heard of the from a mate with an Evo. Haven't used them myself though so don't know. I'm looking to remap the car at the end of Nov so would be good to head up (from Edinburgh) for a RR & printout. Do Star Performance have a rolling road?

Not sure bout Star mate, not used them. Autohaus in Edinburgh are good for remaps, they did my initial revo one. They now only do APR tho and don't have a rolling road.

Konzeptautohaus in Glasgow are also good and do Revo. However they also don't have a RR.

Homer, I've saw your car at Autohaus.  They are my local garage (2 mins from work) so I get on quite well with Stevie and the lads.

As you say they do APR stuff now so no diesel remap (I'll be going with Ben and Shark Performance anyway) but really top notch work.

They can also buy in VW Racing stuff for you if ever necessary.  :happy2:

Falkland Performance are good(also revo dealers). Try them they have a rolling road. Only 2wd though. Konzept Auto are the people i used for my software. You pay for what you get. I don't rate star performance at all.

Do we not only need a 2wd rolling road for the GTI?

Sorry to Hijack your thread but where's the best place to get my GT 140 chipped/Mapped and whats it likely to cost?  I have a mate who works at VW and they do REVO remaps for £300 iirc (this might be wrong price)

I used Dastek years ago when i was in the Nissan 200sx club. We had a block booking and a few cars got done. this would have been 8 or 9 yeras ago so cant really remember.

I'm with Graeme re star performance ... Had a remap and other good work on my old cupra but took my ed30 up for a giac stage 1 map. He openly admitted that he did no test after the map was added and had no evidence from vcds before or after. When I drove home it was clearly not right and as it's a 120m trip each way for me I took it to pdt who found it was pulling timing of about 9deg and only putting out about 245bhp. Jim was not very open to idea he'd not done a good job and needless to say I've not been back
