Great looking car mate. Cant wait to see those calipers on the car. What did u mean by spraying the disks?

Thanks mate

Might have been a typo, I painted the hubs of the disc's to stop them going rusty.

Yesterday I carried out a few interior mods

Fitted a rcd 510,  really impressed with this wish I had of put it in sooner

Fitted some gti pedals

Both mods didn't take long so I gave the car a much needed interior valet

Very, very nice  :congrats:
The car looks really great and you have done some intelligent mods!  :congrats:
One advice: buy a front sway bar as well. It will complement the rear one very nicely!

I go on very rarely. I don't think it is that active.

You're possibly running the same software as me then. I'm looking to junk it off. Overfuels like a pig.

The main reason I joined tdi sport was to read kilners thread, he is doing amazing stuff with the pd170.

What software are you looking to change to? Mine over fuels too, can't see anything behind me with all the black smoke it kicks out lol.

Thanks mate, the brakes won't be going on until the new year, got to find some decent pads for them, I think I am going to get some mintex m1144.

Yeah that's about the only reason I go on. Was chatting to him at a rolling road day couple of months back. He cast his eye over my map and said it was running nearly as much fuel as his was. No wonder it smokes. Mine is the same plus fed up and the filthy rear all the time. I've always had my doubts regarding the mapping since having it done.

Either going to see if Kilner wants a play or will be taking it to see Chris at CC Tuning in Burton. Mine only made 200 on the rollers there. Should be smoke free at that power.

I only joined to read Kilners thread also :grin:My car hardly chucks any smoke out the back so I would say its over fueling..Always get in contact with Dark side devolments about a map also but they aren't cheap

I wouldn't mind him having a look at my map but it's probably the exact same one you have got, not heard much about cc tuning really.

I cover my rear in finish kare fk1000 heat resistant wax to stop the soot bonding with the paint, I had previously used hd wax and was a nightmare to clean as the soot burnt through the wax, not nice looking at a white car with a black rear end.

Have you got shark solftware too?

I have been looking at darksides bigger turbo and manifold kits and wondering weather its worth the hassel of getting them plus smf and clutch (not going to very cheap) I have got their egr delete kit which is very well made.
