Not a mk5 golf but a seat leon mk2 pd170 btcc
« on: November 01, 2013, 09:08:26 pm »
Hi Guy's

Been a member on seatcupra.net for over a year and started to look on here as the golf and leon are essentially the same car.

Bit of a background on my car and bike history, I am a bit of a ford nut and owned a few including a few mk3 fiestas, 1 being a 220bhp rs turbo, mk4 escort rs turbo running 180 bhp,  mk1 focus st 170, mk2 focus st 2 running 300 bhp a few others but nothing exciting, I have also owned a zx6r 636 and a cbr 600rr, haven't had a bike for a few years as i think its too dangerous to ride on the roads now, i had someone knock me off my zx6r through not looking.

Now onto the leon, I have owned it since Jan this year.

When i first got it after its 1st proper wash, the previous owner used to park it under a willow tree so it was covered in sap.

Fitted a linea r grill and sprayed the chrome surround black

Put some carbon door sills on

Fitted some drls in my side vents

Night view of my drls

Headlights on and drls dim to 50%

Replaced the stupid grey centre caps with black gel overlays

Carried out a darkside development egr delete

New battery box fitted

Painted my "s" badge white

Went to shark for a dpf delete remap and eibach sportlines

My stage 1 map

My stage 2 map

50/50 after the journey back from shark

Went down to amd for a seatcupra.net rr day

My print out

Rear "s" badge wrapped

Bro in law is a window tinter so got the rears tinted

Wrapped the door handles with carbon wrap

Shark performance sticker

Sprayed my "leon" lettering black

Trying out my snow foam

Fly eye kit on the rear lights

New sticker

Armrest fitted

Bought a full mk 5 r32 brake setup, currently being sprayed white

Discs painted with hammerite

Bought an auto tech rear arb from little_dave

Thanks mate, future mod list includes Front arb, salk, hids, triple r composites front spliter and their rear diffuser when its made, maybe some bigger exhaust tips, rns or rcd 510 if i can find a cheap dab one and figure out whats what with them (still confused about the models and gate ways) fit the brakes and rear arb and do a few evening track days next year

Nice meeting you today Paul  :drinking:

Lovely looking Leon you have with some really nice touches  :happy2:

Looking forward to seeing your progress as you add the extras we spoke about

Good luck on the slippery slope lol

Hope the M25 wasn't too bad on the way back, I saw the queue as I drove past you on the A13

The m25 was ok considering it was shut at enfield, it was more busy on the m11 but just normal friday night traffic

Going to fit the arb when i put my r32 set up hopefully in a few weeks, will let you know how it goes  :driver:
