Downpipe and sports cat Question

Looking at changing my down pipe and cat to a sports cat, but don't want to go to a stage 2 map. do you have to go stage 2 to prevent any warning lights on dash

2007 GTI DSG, Xenon's, Armrest 6 Disc ,Rear Parking Sensors,Sunroof,Lux Pack,Cruise,Electric drivers seat,MFSW,RNS 510,Miltek Cat Back.

It's not a stage of tuning as such it's more coding out the lambda...

Out of interest why don't you want to go stage 2?
im running stage 1 blufin at the moment and not really thought of going stage 2, as stage 1 seems so much better than stock.

Don't waste your cash if your not going to get the software to go with it... Stage 2 BF I found much more torquey than stage 1... Free upgrade too, think its about 50 notes now.  But there are better maps out there. :happy2:

If you ask the guys at superchips  nicely I'm sure they could modify a stage 1 map to map out the emissions light warnings for fitting a sports cat
