H&R -30mm lowering springs
«

Is any one out there running the H&R 30mm lowering springs.. I need to replace a standard spring that has failed.. so might as well replace all 4 for something a bit lower as the mk5 Gti seems quite high..
The road quality in my area is awful so coilovers are not an option.. I want a slightly lower ride while still maintaing an OEM comfort and original dampers..
Options seem to be
H&R 30mm
Eibach 20/30mm
Ap 20mm
Just wondering what experiences people have had with either product, not sure I like the sound of eibachs different heights from front to back, but can be persuaded if they are the ones to have
Cheers

Have had Eibach on my Octavia, very nice product, feels sportier, handles better, looks a a little lower, just a little stiffer, say maybe 15-20% more than stock, just dont expect a big drop and you wont be dissappointed

Had H&R springs fitted yesterday after the guys at power valve recommended them. Very pleased with the look and ride.

H&R products are excellent.
The 30mm lowering spring imo are spot on. They give a noticeable drop without destroying the ride quality

My car came with H&R's, as the shocks were fecked I put an AP kit on (big mistake as they are pants), then bought a B12 Sportline kit which I should have just got in the first place.
I prefer the Eibachs to the H&R's personally, but both are highly regarded.
