To 2... or not to 2.. that is the question!

Current situation...  311bhp.. and ~310lbfts.

Now.... to go stage 2 would cost ~£650. Ive read that stage 2 is a bit "meh" so is it worth it or not?

spend the cash on something else bud,

stage one in these cars is more than ample , going stage two you also then need to think about clutches, lsd, brakes etc

Stage 2 is loads better than 1, but adding the fuel pump and running a milder stage 2+ is even better.

Stage 2 and 2+ just extend the torque peak further up the rev range.

Go 2 but possibly budget for a pump.

I went from 1 to 1+ with a BDM intake, to 2+ with just a pipewerx d/p, hpfp and s3 cooler added at first.

I have had no reliability issues with 2+.....   accept.... clutch lasted less than a week..... and my gearbox went capput although there did not seem to be any reason to blame the 2+ tune on it maybe was just a weakpoint?

stage 2+ is great i would not bother with stage 2
