Door Shuts and Sills
« on: November 06, 2013, 07:53:14 am »
Fellas
Quick question, how do you rinse off the door shuts and sills of your car?  I use a pressure washer to rinse the car but obviously cannot use that on these areas.  Probably a very simple solution and me being a bit  :rolleye:

Cheers

Andy

I tend to use a hand pump bottle. Its not very strong but saves getting the interior wet

Kind of like this one http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/elite-heavy-duty-trade-quality-solvent-sprayer-1.5-litre.php?cPath=65

You can spray the hinges with a Jet wash. It takes a bit of time to learn the angle however . Or just use a hosepipe to rinse off the dirt after you've cleaned it..
Also for the sills where you open the door I just use a wet Microfibre towel.

I've always used a jet wash after soaking some Megs APC on the hinges etc and agitating them with a brush.

I just jet wash it off through the door gaps, you will see all the water running out the bottom of the door shuts
