Sorry for the late reply  :ashamed:

I used 3.5 tins because I had various other VW badges to do

I would say use 4 tins   :happy2:

Great job, loooks brilliant.  Did you get a bit of the tyre there.

Yeah that's the beauty of plastidip. No masking is needed

Just spray the rims quite thick against the tyre. That way it peels off really easy all the way round.

This is the winter wheels I'm going to plastic dip.  Can't make my mind up on a colour yet

Ant.... If you are brave enough go for Blaze Blue or Orange  :pomppomp:

Plastidip is ridiculously versatile stuff, so easy to work with you could let your kids do it!

Not a fan of the gold myself, Blue for me!  :happy2:

Nice one! Will look the nuts.  :happy2:

Will be Gold on mine, I'm almost 99.9% decided. Never used Plastdip myself, hell of a lot cheaper than a refurb, what could possibly go wrong?

Hmmm they could look barryboys & very chavy??  Apart from that they'll stand out with black car and bright orange wheels.  The mrs doesn't know yet.  She already thinks I'm  :stupid:

So what's best way to do this?  Deflate the tyres, mask all round and make sure I get a good coat on the edge of rim.  What about the internal stud holes. I'm sure I read something about putting coins in them.   I've ordered new vw center badges.   Any info on tips or tricks from guys who have done it would be most appreciated.  :happy2:
