condensation in tail light!

finally i am the proud owner of a vw GTI  :wink: 2006 model, black (which is the worst colour - as it shows every bit of muck!)cannot fault the car really. but noticed i have condensation in one of my tail lights at the back? does anyone else have this problem?? any remedies?? im wanting to change my tail lights for some mirrored ones initially, but hope i do not have the same problem with these too!!

Get a replacement from fleabay they go for pennies and is a 2 min job to DIY. :happy2:

I know what you mean about keeping Black clean at this time of year.

I've got condensation in all 4 :sad1:
Wondering if maybe it was from some moisture in the boot from cleaning products.. Not sure, but I hope it goes away!

Try to re-tighten the bolts again. The tray seals may look tight enough but they are made of foam so you need to push it in hard from the outside while you tighten up the nuts. This will seal evenly against the body and water shouldn't leak in. If this fails then you can always order a new tail light from your local dealers or just go on Ebay. Mirrored tail lights? Please don't say Lexus lights there awful. :sick:

Thanks ill Try that! No there not Lexus lights there just black mirrored ones.  Not sure yet though. I definetly think the Lexus ones are chavvy and tacky. :scared:
