RNS510 voice control - good or gimmick ?
« on: November 13, 2013, 10:46:20 pm »
Subject says it all really.

I'm going to great lengths to get an oem mic fitted into my gti so that I can try out voice but based upon everything else I ever tried that is voice controlled, I am expecting it to be totally rubbish.

The amount of times I've shouted 'call Mum' at my iPhone and then got into a screaming match at the wretched phone... wait a minute, how embarrassing ;)

I have it in my mk6 and it's pretty good, switching radio channels for example is generally accurate. If you haven't got one already I'm selling a mic and it's loom in the for sale section  :happy2:
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding
