Well that produces results on Google, so it must be. What a strange name for wheels. Thanks man :)

Time to begin the hunt. Not going to be easy.

^^^^ That's them, great looking wheels too.  :happy2:

Have a look at the 18" BBS SR's. Look similar (ish) with a better width/offset for stance and room for a BBK if required....

Oh and they're cheaper!

Hmm, they are nice, but not quite the same. Not as angular. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Watkins Glen in a racetrack in the US, lots of GTI wheels are names after tracks.

Pointless obscure fact of the daaaaaaaaaay...

As Mike said there have been loads of VW wheels named after tracks:
As well as the previously mentioned theres also Long Beach and Le Castellet (Paul Ricard) from the MK4 Bora, Road Americas and Daytonas from the Passat range, Detroits from the ED30, Indianapolis from the Mk5 Talladega from the Mk6 R/scirroco, Austin from mk7 gti, that's just off the top of my head lol!  :grin:

Also some more pointless vw trivia, most of the models are named after winds  :smiley:

I think Leon SuperCopa wheels would look very nice on a Golf.

The GTi wind? never heard of it ;)

Though Golf == Gulf Stream. This is why even though England is on the same latitude as Canadia, we are quite a lot warmer.
Passat ==Passatwind. is derived from the German word for Trade Wind.
Polo == Polar Wind.

This is fun :)

Touraeg is the name of a remote African tribe. They were supposed to be a nomadic, noble people.

Now they are a group of terrorists.  :grin:
