Hello chaps, we've had an invite over on www.focusstoc.com from 'VTEC Abuser'.

Is this a standard RWYB day or has it been booked up specifically for the inter-forum meet?

Depending on work and other commitments I hope to be there. I'm 'Funk' on FocusSToc as well. I think there's a load of VXR boys coming too so it should be good fun (as it's all straight lines, they should have a chance of doing ok..) ;)

Hey Guys just Home from work! Just had news a work project is going ahead the weekend the Pod meet is on

Soo I don't think I'll be able to attend

the jobs been on hold for 6months and now its going ahead!! Typical the joys of working in a family business

!!

Hopefully I'll be able to meet up for the next 1 and see some faces at Ultimate Dubs

I'll also have my stickers on the ed30 to spread the name of the forum

Last time I looked about 15 mate.. I last counted over 110 cars between the forums i invited, so looks like I have created a bit of attention..

Obviously they are not all confirmed yet, but either way, they'll be some good old grudge matches on the go me thinks..

Not really a shame about the car, it's been brilliant. Don't think I didn't look carefully at the GTI/CupraR/CTR/VXR before putting the money down on the Ford. Two reasons why; the 5-pot growl reminds me of the old Audi urQuattro rally cars and sounds immense, secondly Ford really upped their game with the mkII Focus and I really couldn't see where the extra Ã‚Â£4k Volkswagen wanted for an equivalent-spec GTI went. I'm not going to get into an argument about which is best as they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately life would be boring if we all drove the same thing.

The ST's off soon anyway to be replaced by a 123d M-Sport with some extra toys on it.. Can't wait, it's a properly good car!

Not sure yet Luca. My earlier link to the thread on the STOC has a list of folks. I'm sure the weather will play a key role in how many attend, too. No point rocking up in a powerful FWD hot-hatch if it's pissing with rain.

To those who've postulated about the removal of seats, spare wheels and spare children, I would think that this is highly unlikely as we're really only there for a giggle and a bit of inter-forum banter. Although I've heard that if you fold the rear seats flat...

I'm certainly running in road trim I know that. May take the ack seats out later in the day for a run or two just to compare (if I can be arsed, but I shall be running with them in from the off..
