Sounds like a tough job stripping everything down to clean them. Don't think I would be confident enough. I don't have any problems unless it's starting up or idling so might just wait for it to get worse to make a warrenty claim with vw.

If there's something wrong and a Vw warranty like you say, then why wait?   :confused:

Because I have already been into them on numerous occasions and last time I was there they told me they couldn't find anything and to let it progress. Which is just crap. Now I have vcds I can atleast go to them pointing out the specific problem with cylinder 3 misfiring. Still feel I need more to go on as I'm unsure how many misfires is acceptable.
