Hi folks,

I've been lurking around for a while, so I said it's time to join up and say hello as I picked up a MK5 GTI a few weeks ago, and this seems like the place to be. I also instantly regretted it once I had a flick through the parts for sale section. I was driving a MK4 1.8T 25th Anniversary GTI previous to buying the MK5, and to be honest I still miss it!

Anyway, I'll get a thread for the MK5 up later on today.

Welcome buddy. I lived about 10 miles out of Dublin for a year at a little town called Saggart. Had some great nights out in Dublin in my time and was almade made to feel welcome.

I'm suprised you're missing a mk4 after getting a mk5 tho, maybe just need more time to gel with the mk5 :happy2:
