For anybody who new Jamie, its with huge regret to tell you that as of yesterday he's no longer with us.

Condolences thread on vagoc chat section and his face book page is very busy.

Husband to Helen, father to JJ (2-1/2) and Ben 4 weeks old, an absolute tragic loss to all that knew him and the VAG scene has lost one of its latter day true enthusiasts, a gentle 6'3 Giant who never had his picture taken without a huge beaming smile.

Only ever went to one VAGOC meet at ADI a few years back. Nearly everyone bar me had a TTRS and barely anyone spoke to the scuffer in the measly Golf. The one friendly guy was a tall fella named Jamie.

So sad, was gutting to see the feed on FB.

Will always remember the S3 meets and what a top bloke you were  :happy2:

It is definitely no cliché when I say that Jamie was one of the nicest guys I have the had the pleasure of knowing.
Fond memories of many meets, beers and passenger rides.. RIP Big Man.  :sad1:

Terrible terrible news! I was fortunate enough to meet the big fella a few times and he was genuinely a top bloke! Even took it well when my Eddy spanked his S3 at a Regal RR day a few years back!

Such a tragic loss!  :sad1:
