Black 2007 GTI Manual, Stage 3 K04, R32 Bumper/Exhaust, WALK, adj rear ARB, KW1's, Twintercooler, Twintake, 18's (winters), 19's (summer) modified dectane LED rear lights, NQSBBK, Forge dump valve, Xenon look headlights with 5000k HID, 3" downpipe with sports cat, TT wishbones, uprated HPFP, Sach Uprated Clutch, Quaife LSD, VT & THS Engine Mounts.
To be fitted: Reverse Camera & uprated headunit.

If you've not lost anything then you've probably gotten away with it lightly. Just make sure the rads aren't damaged/bent and same for driveshafts. However cv joints should have taken up any slack.

The alt belt has slight wear on it where it is touching something but I cant see anything obviously damaged, radiator wise. I will get car recovered and have it checked over & mounts replaced, will also get the LSD & new clutch fitted whilst i'm at it  :happy2:

Looking at the mount thats broke/come undone i'm not sure if it was loose to start as it doesnt look broken it looks like a bolt has come out, i will try to get a picture over the weekend

Unless you have broken the other mounts then it wont have moved 2" forward.

When the mount breaks it can easily swing 2" forward and back, but as a swinging motion.  It will usually allow the aux belt to rub through the aircon pipe, possibly break the fan and may stretch the exhaust flexi. May also have stripped the threads from the gearbox.

The bolt must have been slightly loose. All the early cars pre 2010 used an 8.8 rated bolt, where after that it was changed to a 10.9 with a serrated washer fitted.
