My CR170 regen's every 600ish miles anyway, and even less if only used around town, although it's barely noticeable when it's doing it.
3000 miles between regen's is a LOT
is it 3000 miles since the light came on do you mean??
PD170's are not suited to the DPF which is why so many people have problems, even when it is driven "properly". Common Rail TDI's are much happier with the DPF
- mine has given me a trouble free year of motoring now, even with lots of short trips mixed in with long drives. Loving the shiny tailpipes
