Hi All

Been looking for an answer to the question as to the difference between the basic, mid & highline instrument clusters.

As far as I can tell all GTI come with the midline as standard, which has the trip computer fuel consumption.  What do the highline have.  Pictures I have seen on the web have and outline of the car showing the open doors.

Just wondering as I see posts where people have upgraded their dash.

Suppose I feel the slippery slope of mods coming along...   :ashamed:  (As I had a pop at daughter not so long ago for wanting to lower her car etc) (Yep real tom boy)

No Golf anymore.
Enjoyed the last five years of ownership of Mk5 & 6 GTIs.
Plus an excellent forum for knowledge and new ways to deplete the bank account.
Thank You Everyone.

With the high line you are also able to change certain options yourself that would otherwise require vcds coding if you had the mid line mfd.

I dont see why they dont put it as standard on the GTI's...only a £50 extra...wouldnt even notice if they banged that onto the overall price.

I remember reading that is quite expensive to retro fit the highline.
