Low pressure fuel pump pressure?
«

I am fitting a BWJ TFSI engine in my Mk1 Golf Gti and just want to make sure that the standard pump is up to the task.
I need to know what kind of pressure the LPFP makes?
Cheers,
Adam

You should see 5bar at start up dropping to around 4+ bar at upper rpm.
Also make sure you use the correct 6.6 bar pressure release valve fuel filter.

Thanks for the reply, I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I have a gauge on the way so I can set it up and monitor it.
Would you still recommend that fuel filter, I have a fuel filter fitted, just not that type.
