FORUM CALENDAR 2014 - Selected hi-res needed....
rex:
I think we are making Robin's and Neil's work a lot harder by sharring our thoughs so soon.
I think the best way is to have the calendar delivered and than give a constuctive feedback to it's creators.
If I were envolved in the calendars' creation and even before it got out I would have received negative feedback, I would have have been a bit fed up. I think it helps if we put ourselves in Robin's and Neil's shoes before giving a feedback...
And as another remark, please remember we are each unique and we don't have the same taste. So I guess each one of us would have chosen different photos (me included).
So far each calendar was a true joy to watch and there is no reason to expect anything from this one.
Really looking forward to seening the finished product!

I didn't ask for an explanation robin..... I don't need you to validate my photography. Thanks for trying tho.

....By you challenging our choice of forum calendar photographs you put your own efforts up for validation in that context.
I accept and respect that our views and choices may differ but I feel obliged to respond openly and frankly.

Wasn't a moan! I feel honoured you even call me professional ;)

Good hard work again by two forum members and I, and many others thank them for this. Thanks to Robin and Neil.....looking forward to seeing the finished product again. :happy2:
Food for thought.......If you've got nothing positive to say...maybe just say nothing at all!

Very defensive comment for what was, really, not a very derogatory or negative comment IMO.
It's a forum people can share their thoughts. Normally I am pretty blunt but even tried to word my post very positively. Richard's post wasn't exactly mean or anything.
I don't think anyone is "having a dig". All been escalated a bit too far imo :(
