So no faults found, I have had a full service, new spark plugs & coils from kwikfit. Fuel filter has also been done. The does have intermittent power, it seems under powered. Anyone got any ideas? I have VCDS so if you want me to run any further test il get onto it! thanks

May be an idea to do Round 4 logging for misfire specific diagnosis.

il give that a try! Just feels really slugish, the pcv is ok and has had a new DV (revision D) Just takes a very long time to get warm and the judder every few minutes. The revs dont fluctuate. Last week i had a code 00315 Low Fuel Pressure, but since ive erased it, it has not come back!

Sounds like injector ?

Live log misfires on each cylinder and that may reveal your answer

Swap coil pack 3 with coil pack 1 and re-log. If the misfires move over to cylinder 1 then you have a faulty coilpack.

if the follower had worn out , how was the camshaft?
Given you have a BWA do you have an early revision camshaft?

Do as bacillus says, if fault moves, you've found the cause.
I had the exact same fault, and it was my injector. Won't show as an error on VCDS, but used to show misfires on idle , the longer it idled ,the worse it got, especially from cold starting it was rough as hell.

guys, swapped the coil pack as advised definately is the injector! it misfires on cylinder 3 with the coil pack swapped! i have found an injector but its from a 2010 Audi TT BWA engine with the same part number as the mk5 golf gti, do you think the injector will work? this is the link on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221296011564?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

thanks guys! Im going to get the garage to remove the inlet manifold, dont feel confident enough!
