F10 M5 Contract hire
« on: November 23, 2013, 08:47:28 pm »
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but there is massive support on the BMW M5 at the moment.  On a PCH with 6 payments up front, you can get them for £580 per month, which is an absolute bargain for a £70k+car!!  Obviously if running through a business you can claim the vat back, but good luck with the Company car tax.

Im seriously tempted to replace the RS3 with one......and on paper the MPG look similars, but that doesn't really matter as my wife only does 6000 miles or so a tar, but that would probably go up if I get one of these..... :driver: 560HP, twin turbo V8, rear wheel drive, MMMMMMMm

Anyone driven one, had any experience of them?

I think you can get them even cheaper than that, I saw them at 429+vat recently. wicked car for that kind of money. And that kind of car, you'd be an absolute mug to buy it!  :signLOL:

How long do you have to take the contract for - is it open ended after so many months or mileage restrictions?

To long, shame - 9 months for a visitor would of been worth a look at!

Cheers for the prompt reply.

Look up mitchy on the RS forums, he had one to replace his TTRS with. Was a short lived experience after his wife spun it, it couldn't match the mapped TTRS 1/4 mile times, and the engine blew up after a DMS map.

Haha I knew it would come down to re-maps, 1/4 miles etc

He did love the 1/4 mile maybe too much, but ultimately after his wife refusing to drive it after it's spin it's card was marked. I think he's looking at GTR's now.

the idea of remapping 560 bhp car seems perverse to me!
