Urgent help Canbus gateway change, wipers not working anymore

Help please, I got a new gateway precoded I installed it and my front wipers aren't working now, I took the motor out to get to the gateway and after I've put it back in it worked once and then stopped working, any help would be appreciated :smiley:

Might be that the motor was on the way out and since disturbing it...  you can pick them up quite cheap on ebay if all else fails.

Seems to be working again for now, I'll be keeping my eyes on it though, cheers!

Why did you need to remove the motor? Where is your can bus located? Mine seems to be behind the dash near the steering column and can be accessed by lying on my back lol

Some (post 2006) are located behind the coin tray under the headlight switch and can either be accessed by removing the scuttle panel and wiper motor linkage, or by removing the coin tray and ferreting around. I prefer the later, it's quicker and less hassle but it takes a week for the skin on my hands to grow back :)
