Look up mitchy on the RS forums, he had one to replace his TTRS with. Was a short lived experience after his wife spun it, it couldn't match the mapped TTRS 1/4 mile times, and the engine blew up after a DMS map.
Really?!?! I didn't realise it blew up?!?! How did he stand with the dealer after that?
I knew his Mrs got it a bit broadside coming off a RA, didn't realise she spun it? Not being funny, but to spin the car would involve turning all aids off and why would she do that if she was a bag of nerves driving it? With traction/stability control on it wouldn't do anything of the sort.. There must be more to it if you ask me..
The only reason it wouldn't match his 1/4 mile times is down to traction and RWD.. Name me a practical 2wd car that would match an 11.3 1/4 mile this side of a Ferrari F12? On the move it wouldn't have any problem IMO and when mapped it would rip the TT a new one (if it doesn't blow up that is )..
BMW warranted it no question asked.
Yeah I was wondering that aswell, afaik she "spun" it with the kids in the car. Im sure those where Craig's words.
I've seen the performance figures of the m6 with the competition pack and it's basically as quick as the new turbo S, although some reckon the press cars supplied where BMW specials as the figures are just insane and don't match up with what the new m6 is achieving in the GTboard videos etc.
