Difficulty in fitting mk6 golf
« on: November 28, 2013, 05:43:50 pm »
Heated seats - I'm trying to get this as a factory fitted option but if I don't find one, I think I saw Eddie-nil fit heated seats to his Octavia. Is this difficult? Approx cost?

Gti/gtd/r steering wheel - my car will have DSG and MFSW, will the wheel be a straight swap? I think the airbags are different sizes so need a specific airbag for the wheel.

Led rear lights - am I right in thinking the "R" always had led lights and the gti had them past 2010? The "R" lights are slightly darker? Is fitting them the same? I.e different wiring, coding

Looking to see how difficult these would be to source and fit to a mk6 golf match.

Cheers!

Hi EDD

EddieNL can fit heated seats into your mk6 golf easy so just get one without and find some seats and he will keep you right!!!

again Ed can get you what you need for the steering wheel!!!

Ed got me rear LED lights for mine and upgraded the BCM so he could also fit front fogs, need wiring adapters but easy enough to get hold of(i have some for sale)

I have heated cloth in my mk6 and I have to say it is the most under rated item on the car  :signLOL: It was just a nice to have the car had but now I love it!
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding
