I brought this just over a week ago, a 2005 3 door, DSG, for what I think was a good price. Had to travel up to Leeds from Kent so was up at 5.30 and dragged one of my friends with me, we had the obligitory McDonalds breakfast before catching the train from Tonbridge at 6.30 luckily all the trains were on time and running smooth so we got to Guiseley at 11.15. The chap who was selling the car came and picked us up, then took us out for a test drive. As soon as I got in the drivers seat I knew it was going to be mine! After looking over the car and the service history the deal was done. So we found the nearest garage filled up and set off on our way home. Finally by about 18.00 we were home and with no problems.
These were the pictures used to advertise the car
I must say it is quite a step up from a little 1.4 206.
Copied from the for sale ad this is the spec:

18" Diamond Cut Monza Alloy Wheels
Currently wrapped in carbon fibre to the roof and bonnet
looking through some old receipts I found the DSG paddles were retrofitted (I was confused because it had paddles but no MFSW) by a VW specialist at a cost of £450
The alloys were refurbed 18 months ago at a cost of £360.
My main goal is to keep the car smart, tidy and well maintained, The carbon fibre effect will be coming off the bonnet but I quite like it on the roof and number plate surround.
The seat sliders don't work properly and I was quite relived when I came on here and noticed a cheap fix so the first chance I had I popped down to the local dealership and quoted them the part numbers they cost £0.68 each side although I haven't got round to fitting them yet, but while I was at the dealers I asked them to check if it had any outstanding recalls. It had one for the ignition coil pack so I booked it in there and then.
