Would be grateful if anyone could help as its doing my head in. Car not lowered. Very bumpy ride, so much that I feel other drivers can see me bouncing around in car. No knocking but is most noticeable when I go on smooth surface. When I bought the car I was back in at them few days after because of something else and said to him about bumpy ride to which I was told oh GTi's are bumpy. Looking at recent work done before I purchased it had advisory's 2 mot's ago for velocity gaiters being deteriorated. No advisorys last mot before purchase so assumed they had been repaired. Sales guy said well must b fixed then when I pointed it out.
Basically im trying 2 eliminate the problem. Could this be the cause if still deteriorated and last mot didnt pick up on it?
Or.... my front tyres need air every few weeks even tho brand new Eagle F1s and been sealed twice now. Could this be signs of buckle? Tyre guy said there fine but just leak air after time?
Any help would be much appreciated its seems more noticeable recently.
