DIY antenna mod: rcd300 to rcd310
« on: November 30, 2013, 10:04:03 pm »
Hi,

Have just purchased an rcd310 to replace the rcd300 in my 2007 mk5 GTI. I know an antenna adapter is required and I have ordered one but unfortunately it hasn't arrived in time and the time I have to fit everything is tomorrow. Does anyone have a DIY for how to do this with parts of the shop from a shop that would be open on a Sunday. At the minute I'm thinking speaker wire and an assortment of connectors plus insulating tape to hold in place.

Any suggestions appreciated?

Thanks!

if you just take the outer housing off the connectors they will pop on, bit of tape to keep them secure may suffice... :happy2:

Just taped them?

eBay do the connectors for around a fiver.
