My golf hit whilst parked up

Just heard a huge bang and get a knock on the door. A learner driver has driven into my car whilst parked up. His front end is totalled with both airbags gone off and his wheel horizontally hanging  off.
The damage on my golf looks to be front wing, and my drivers side front wheel has been pushed back up into my wing. Also my car has been pushed up and over the curb which has punctured my pass side tyre
What potential damage am I looking at here ?

Good chance that this will be a total loss - it will have a high residual value as salvage.

Check the roof for a crease and it's a dead cert!

An other area is the gearbox plus your described damage - if the shaft has been popped they will assume the box is f*ck.

Younger than 2009 they may want to repair it.
