Any edition 30 owners get a letter today ?

Wife just rang me at work saying i have had a letter from VW telling me that due to customer feedback etc they will be releasing a limited edition plaque that matches the cars chassis number !!!!, thing is i have a plaque already !!, im guessing its a cock up, anyone else had a second letter

i have received a 2nd letter, I have replied back and waiting to see if I get a different number to what I already received...

I think they just gave the plaques out randomly, me thinks this a bit of a cock up for vw..

Ive been waiting 6 months now, and havent even received my FIRST letter or plaque!!!!!!!

Just rang them again and they will pass it on to a team leader - exactly what they told me 3 months ago!

You think that is bad - I've had mine since March 2007 and phoned 4 times to "register" and still sweet F**K all response!

But I already had my plaque.

To those of you that dont have theirs are you continuing to chase VW regularly ? I only ask as I ordered mine in April just after I bought the car, I rang VW cust services every 2 weeks for an update. My final call was in July when the chap I spoke to seemed surprised it had taken so long, mysteriously the plaque arrived less than a week later.
I'd like to think there must be a generic process they are all following but my suspicion is this may be not be the case.
- Other people who ordered plaques after me received them before me so there's clearly no consistency.

Already have my plaque.  2nd letter indicates that the accounting procedure for the issue of plaques is not too clever!
