Mk5 golf wing mirror replacement parts
« on: December 07, 2013, 11:38:25 am »
Driving along last night and a car was over my side a little to much and has clipped my wing mirror, the LED light unit was smashed and i have ordered a new one, also what i believe to be called the wing mirror interior cover (piece of plastic that sits around the mirror, that has also broken and i cant seem to find it anywhere, is this a part im going to have to get from the dealers? Also the mirror is pealing away from its backing plate, should i replace this aswell?

It is a common problem for the glass to loosen. Use some araldite or similar.
