Next up.....
« on: September 17, 2009, 08:30:57 pm »

Just took the Cupra out for a drive, just a blast to test cam follower replacement was all hunky dory.

To be honest I think I'm very much used to the power of Apr's Stage 2+ map :(

Booked in for clutch at VWR, then fitting WALK and PCV fix christmas time.  New year my plan is VWR engine/ gearbox mounts
and to go Big turbo, just neeeeed more power!  Going out frequently in my mates MKII Golf 1.8 20v T (290bhp and made from paper maché) hasnt helped me feel in need more power.  The golf is so aggressive!

Currently have Dbilas (think this may be replaced with BT inlet, APR Cooler, APR fuel pump, APR 2+ software, miltek non res tbe, forge Dv, KW V3, neuspeed arbs, torque arm insert....

Cant ait for the next batch of mods, getting frustrated!!!

The one I took out was put in at 10k miles when I had the uprated fuel pump.  No signs of wear, especially compared to the pics I have seen.   Did it today just for peace of mind.

Go for it!!

Been running APR Stage 1 now full on stage 2 on my Ed 30 and have had no issues with my clutch.

VWR/Awesome/APS/AmD all say the same thing on Stage 2 in that the clutches arern't a problem it's the drivers!

Lovning Stage 2 with RSC though!
Pearl Black Edition 30 3 Door. DSG. (3rd Edition 30)
Maybe on the too do list: APR Stage 2+, KW Clubsports, Brakes, Diff.
