York raceway - Hatch shootout

Gene Hunt:
Only 20 miles from me BUT got a 12hr night shift  :sad1: today so won't be doing much.

Okay.

Great morning, but very busy. managed 4 runs in the morning before bailing out to go to work.

The bad news is a Peugeot 106 beat me up the strip......on my best run :sad1:
Not too worried as it had a huuuuge turbo conversion, was stripped out and only had a tiddly stainless fuel tank, whilst I'd only taken out the sub and the spare.

Dropped the R888's down to 22psi and .......result.

Fastest time of the day for me..

2.27 - 60ft
8.6449 - 1/8th mile
86.54mph - 1/8th mile
13.1511 - 1.4 mile et
109.20mph - 1/4 mile

In the right hand lane they swapped out the 60' time for a 0-60mph time and only ran once in this lane and managed...

5.0392 sec to 60mph. with a 13.2431 et.

The surface at York isn't as bad as I thought, but the R888's really did make a considerable difference off the line. Pity my fastest run wasn't in the RHS lane as I would be sure it would have been under 5 seconds

the 2 things I beat the Pug on as with it's big turbo it only managed a 5.4899 sec to 60mph and my 1/8th time was 0.09 secs quicker. So, traffic light GP FTW against him I think :happy2:

Will post slip up when I get home

Lol, it may well have been for the amount that was left in it. Think of that pic and just add wheels, an engine and a steering wheel and you're about there

Hurdy:
oh and paint it red
