Anywho, back to the Turini's.

They look gorgeous in the flesh (or metal/alloy), the anthracite colour is stunning, way better than I was expecting. I've not had a chance to weigh them yet but they feel as light if not lighter than my old TD Pro Race 1.2's.

They won't be going on till next weekend as I'm waiting for the correct bolts to turn up from Rimstyle (who forgot to send any out with the order) and also some spare blank Speedline centre caps and VW emblems in the correct size for them. Also need to seal and wax them.

Can't wait to get them on and the next round of mods done now!

Couple of quick snaps

They look stunning mate :happy2:

1. Great choice!  :notworthy:
2. Please weigh them when you have the chance.
3. They seem to be a much lighter grey than in the photo you previously posted. I think they look very very very good!
I don't really like black wheels on red cars (the anthracite seemed to be closer to black), that's why I said before that I like silver wheels better.
I guess it depends on the particular photo... For example, when I had anthracite wheels they would seem closer to black in some photos:

and closer to silver in others:

Really curious who they will look on your car so can't wait to see them fitted!
:congrats: :congrats:

Thanks rex!  :drinking:

Hopefully I'll be able to get them fitted this week.

The Speedline Turini's on the Mk5 Golf i posted a pic of have been refurb'd (Powder coated) in a generic Anthracite and yes they a LOT darker. The pic below shows how they look as the flesh and in natural light (pretty damn close anyway).......

And the weight (surprised).....

Speedline Corse Turini 18"x8" ET42 = 10.1 Kilos

Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 18"x8" ET45 = 9.0 Kilos

To compensate for all this extra weight im now on a diet to lose 4 kilos!   :popcornsoda:

The Turinis went on today, am still waiting for some decent VW centre cap logos to turn up but the ones I have will do for now.  The wheels look lovely!!

Couple of quick pics......

And bought a few new front plates as I lost one a few weeks back, magnets on the pressed plate and double sided suction cups on the other. One on the car and one on the boot if/when the other goes walkabout.....

Both fitted.......
