^^^^ No magnets do not stick to these plates, glue them on. Pictures etc etc etc of the "magnet mod" plates in this thread.

I use both magnets and double sided suction cups on different plates, both as good as each other although both will cause minor scratching to the grill, nothing that can't be buffed out though.

Love your car mate. One of best ed30 I've ever seen.
How much is the smooth front grill and tts engine cover?
I also want the front edition 30 badge any idea on a part number for that?
And is there anywhere online I can order genuine vw parts or is it TPS?

Sorry for all the questions but you seem to know your stuff so thought I would ask haha

^^^^ Thank you.  :drinking:

Front grill was around £120 from AwesomeGTI but IIRC IT can be purchased a little cheaper on German ebay at the mo due to the great exchange rate.

TTS Engine cover and bolts are around £100, part numbers in 1st post. Ive no about where to source OEM parts other than the main dealer and/or TPS.

The Edition 30 badges are no longer made so it's ebay or a member on here had a few for sale...look up Mandy.

I think AKS Tuning can provide all you need for a TTS engine cover at the right price.

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

Thanks for the info buddy :) does the grill come painted black so straight fit on?
And what coilovers would you recommend?
Not bothered about slamming it just for handling purposes really with a little drop. (Don't want to buy cheap crap that ruins ride and performance and make the car really crashy)

Cheers :happy2:

^^^^ Fanks chaps!  :happy2:

@Mitch H  The grill is exactly the same as your minus the plinth for the number plate and obviously no holes, fit and forget. As to coils, you can't go wrong with any variants of either Bilstien, H&R, KW or Ohlins if you have a bit more to spent.
