What type of transponder for spare key?
« on: December 13, 2013, 11:18:04 pm »
Going to have a try at making up a spare key as my car only came with one, not really bothered about buttons so just going for a straight cut spare, just wondering what transponder ill need, ive done a few for my pasted meriva and the mrs corsa using opcom, and made one up for a fabia with vag-tacho, ive just bought Vag commander for the mk5 so any help with coding with this would be great, ive got the 4 digit code read but not 100% on how to pair the key. cheers

its a 1.9 tdi 54 reg if it helps. cheers

When you mess up with vag commander clone feel free to call me! It's a T6 I'd 48.  You may or may not need to prepare a dealer key, depending on tools.

It's cheap enough for me to supply you a cut and programmed key for 80 quid if your local and interested?

Yeah I too would like to know where you had a flip and standard key supplied for 50 quid. That's so cheap it's crazy.

bought the parts off ebay, and coded them myself, used flipkey with new blade and chip was around £15 bidding, standard new key with new blade and chip was £17, cost me a 10ner to have them cut at a local lock smith. then read the SKC code with vag commander 1.4 (already had this but is around £12 to buy the fake) and then programmed them with VCDS that i already had. took all of 5 min to code them

Pics of the keys and pic of the standard none flip key starting the car

I get everyone needs to make money and i respect your skill and trade but dont try giving me bullsh*t to get money out of me, being honest and friendly will get you a long way in business.

This is the 3rd car ive done, all the cars owned by myself, i dont offer a service but if friends or family need to save cash ill offer to help at there own risk just like i did doing my own.
Thanks
