The ride is not too bad, a lot harder compared to stock but you get what you pay for really as they're budget coilovers but for the price you can't argue really.

coilovers are wound all way down on the front, which is weird as my mate is running same coilovers as me on a mk5 and is a lot lower on the front with threads to still go at, where as mine are wound all way down.

Yes the JOMs are a bit weird like that.
You can make yours go lower by grinding off the bottom part of the "c" where the pinch bolt on the bottom of the strut goes through. This will allow you to get another 10-15mm lower  :happy2:

Been a while since last updated this. I finally got round to bagging the golf, went to see the guys down at low standard designs. Can't fault the work they carry out, it's spot on and very helpful with any questions I had.

Only got the wheels back on today so need to play about with my presets and camber the rears

Looks great dude. Glad Roo did your air for you. He notched the front too?
Have you any stretch on the rear Porsche tyres? Look quite chunky :happy2: :happy2:

Looking great mate, didn't think Gold wheels would look good on a black car but you've proven me wrong.

cheers guys  :happy2: yeah its notched on the front and theres a little bit of stretch on rears, arch sits on the rim but slightly catches the arch when aired out so with bit of camber hoping to get it sat without anything catching.
yeah i was bit unsure on the gold at first myself but has grown on me a lot
