evening all

picked up a ed30 today off a friend, cheapish as its a cat D car! never owned a vw before have always been a bmw owner or jap!

1st impressions of it are very good and it looks like its a very tunable beast!

Yes my friend brought iy damaged in 2010 with 6000miles on it. Now its done 15k

^^^^ No not your (the one in the link) car.  :happy2:

Apart from the previous damage making it a Cat D it looks like a good car,. Got a few extras too, the original MDF2 Sat Nav, Highline display and a MFSW. All the OEM Edition30 parts are there. Happy days!!

Even with such low miles, check the Cambelt/Waterpump have been changed, should have been done in March 2011 on your 07 reg car as its EITHER every 4 years or 60k miles. Hopefully it's been noted in your log book.

The other wasn't an ED30

ahh mine is a genuine ED30, i made sure of that  :happy2:

it needs a cambelt and waterpump doing and is on my list to do 1st
