Intercooler hoses
« on: December 15, 2013, 12:41:58 am »
I was under the car today and noticed the two foremost intercooler hoses where a bit soft, especially the one on the drivers side. You could squash it no problem but its not cracked. The intake? The passenger side one was a bit firmer.

Do these need replacing? If they did, would they be greatly affecting the cars responsiveness.

Thanks

The std boost hoses are soft as std so I wouldn't worry about them, unless you want to uprate them to sfs ones. They are a very good upgrade and help with throttle response.

Thats not so bad then, I just mind my standard subaru ones were a bit harder.  I've though about samco hoses in the past but never done anything about it. It is tempting though.

Thanks
