How many different headlights are there?
« on: December 17, 2013, 03:18:09 pm »
Looking on the bay of e, I've noticed there are other styles of headlights for the mk5.. Halogen (which I have) and then the projectors and xenons plus couple of other styles..  What are the actual differences?   And is it worth just getting uprated bulbs before maybe upgrading to diff lights.

Cheers :)

OEM for the Mk5 there are just 2 types - halogen and xenon.

Uprated bulbs are a good mod - do a search for some ideas.

There are halogens and xenon..
But the halogens come in 3 styles;
The non-GTI chrome finish, the early GT Sport dark grey, or the later GT Sport/GTI black. :smiley:
