Is it a shame though? How many range rover sports do you see? How many x6s do you see? It's a marked difference around my area! And I wouldn't have thought BMW are doing anything other that pulling off a profitable exercise with the x6

Yeah very valid point. I meant it more as a shame for themselves that those people are so narrow minded through not appreciating the BMW for what it is and just write it off and bad-mouth it immediately. Pistonheads forums are notorious for it!  :sad1:

So is this forum!! Muha sorry couldn't resist !

....I hope so!

The occasional M3 and CSL has been known to turn up at our Biali meets. Stunning rear-wheel drive cars and you should hear the induction sound on the CSL!! :notworthy: :notworthy:

Superb engines too. I would have a BMW again.

Ohhhhh sexwee csl! I'd love enough balls and money to own one. It's one of those realistic monsters I would love to own, aside to my unrealistic 430 scuderia fantasies! Just probable that when the time is right it might be a little too dated

....

I don't care what anyone thinks about who's driving a CSL - They've got so much style and character.

I like the M3 too but prefer the CSL. I'd love a V8 M3.

The v8 does sound awesome but also loved the clattering raspy sound of the straight 6 in the e46. Some hated it but I foookin loved it!!

E46 M3 was great. E92 M3 just isnt the same. C63 AMG is a better car than the new m3, certainky sounds better and goes much quicker in a straightline.

I have seriously disagree with the c63 being better. I just don't see it. It's just not poised or delicate as the m3. It's like cutting your hair with hedge trimmers. Yes it's bigger and has more capacity but is it really the tool for the job though? Not really.

Although I agree the new m3 is very different to the old and the c63 sounds incredible!
